Itinerary
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, a warm welcome awaits you from a representative of Siyaha Travels (Pvt) Limited, who will accompany you to Kandy.
En route, visit the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, founded in 1975. Initially established as a tourist attraction, it evolved into a conservation and education center, pioneering a scientific captive-breeding program with the guidance of elephant experts. Today, Pinnawala is home to a thriving herd, famous for its free-roaming elephants and their daily river baths. The first elephant calf was born here in 1984, marking the success of the program. The orphanage has gained international recognition, inspiring books and research studies.
After this fascinating experience, continue your journey to Kandy.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, covering 147 acres. Originally designed as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and later expanded by the British, this botanical garden is home to a wide variety of trees, plants, and flowers, offering a beautiful and tranquil environment.
Following the visit, enjoy a city tour of Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kandy is a treasure trove of history, culture, and folklore. Take a scenic drive around the Kandy Lake and explore the Bazaar area, Arts & Crafts Center, Gem Museum, and the Lapidary, where you can admire the island's gemstone craftsmanship.
In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist site, and later, witness a traditional Cultural Show, highlighting Sri Lanka's vibrant heritage.

Nuwara Eliya, known for its cool mountain climate and breathtaking scenery, is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort. It is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea industry, producing some of the finest tea in the world. The highest mountain in Sri Lanka, Pidurutalagala (8282 feet), is located here, along with one of South Asia’s finest 18-hole golf courses.

After breakfast, proceed to Horton Plains, a high-altitude plateau located at about 7000 feet. The plains are known for their misty grasslands, scraggy trees, and cool rivulets. Visit World’s End, which offers one of the finest views in Sri Lanka, where the escarpment drops about 4000 feet. This is a prime spot for spotting endemic wildlife like the Slender Loris and Purple Monkeys.
Next, visit Ambewela Farm, which plays a significant role in Sri Lanka’s dairy production.
