Itinerary
On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Siyaha Travels (Pvt) Limited, who will transfer you to Negombo.
Relax after checking in to the hotel, and in the evening, visit Negombo city, exploring various historical places. You may also enjoy a boat ride along the Dutch Canal, and if interested, visit the fish market to experience the livelihood of a traditional fishing community in Sri Lanka.

After Breakfast En route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Then continue on to explore the famous Golden Rock cave temple which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Recognized as a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, a vast isolated rock mass with its five caverns is the largest best preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. Proceed to Habarana.

After Breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa, which was the 2nd capital city of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th centuries AD, and which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Here you can see the ruins of the Royal Palace. Then sightseeing at Galoya / Minneriya.

After breakfast, enjoy a tracking adventure at Hiriwaduna with a village lunch.
Take a ride in a bullock cart, enjoy a nature walk through a scrub jungle, wade through a local stream with low-hanging branches, and cross a lake in an ‘oruwa’, the traditional mode of water transport. Spend time with a farmer harvesting crops under his guidance and taste authentic village cuisine prepared by the farmer’s family, using freshly picked produce and local herbs cooked in clay pots over an open hearth fueled by firewood. Experience the village life in the region through a trek to the Hiriwaduna hamlet, which showcases the ecological setting of the area and offers a glimpse of village life as it unfolds.

After breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Climb the 5th-century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The ‘Lion Rock’ is a citadel of exceptional beauty, rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Afterward, continue the journey to Kandy via Matale, where you can visit the spice gardens.

After breakfast, depart for a city tour of Kandy, starting with the Upper Lake Drive, which offers a bird’s eye view of the city below. Then, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, a stunning location with a wide variety of plant species.
